Going(intending) to read: finish my Jesseca Liu's diary, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, (maybe) Memoirs of a Geisha and Cut.

well technically, i'm at the NUH hospital right now. the reason that you are reading this post is because JJ posted for me :]

 

So anyways, i did a lot of things today.

 

In the morning, i went to wanin industries to collect the PSP that i had won :D and you know what, they wanted to take a picture of me T___T

 

and the industrial parks there are soooo confusing! we turned around a lot before finally finding our way :D

 

then before we got home, we TA PAO-ed lunch from singapore post. then mumu and dad had to go to the post office to do some stuff. and there was this bunch of people on an Amazing Race, and they wanted me to take a group shot for them (i guess it was part of the race?) so yea, i helped them. i took it twice cos the first time, the signboard was too small and not visile enough :(

 

then at home, i was telling JJ about my 五宝 (all coloured :D)

and

5. my (new) blue PSP

 

(to celeste: HAH! my 五宝 doesnt include the chocolate 了HAHA)

I'm like getting a little bored now... I can't send out my proposals yet since two of them are in Geylang.

Ohhh! Did I tell you that recently I participated in the Pere Ocean contest, where you have to send in 5 labels of the fruitty drink(the ones they sell at our sch) and then can win bla bla bla...

Then I saw the first prize is iphone, then my mum and I we were like, 'hmmm we should poke our luck too!' and then we truly got win lor! but its not iphone... its a sony PSP.. now I gotta seek VVN my PSP consultant about how to use it heehee..

OHOH my show started already! BYE!

Shining sun, sparkling waters... was what I saw at Marina Barrage today. Let me exercise my knowledge. Marina Barrage is SIngapore's 14th Reservoir. It is the first reservoir in the city and it has been extended 350 metres wide from the other areas to the central area. :D hehe paiseh if it's wrong :D So anyways, I had quite an unusual day today.

Firstly, in the morning I woke up at 7.45 and drank Rice Dream for a before breakfast snack. Then I went to yoga classes. Then when I came back, I was so bloated mann! Then I told mumu I was going back to sleep. So I slept from like 9.50 to 10.50, around there...

SHUANG!

Then when I woke up, I did something to pass time... I did something that I have never done in my entire life :). I went to cut my nails, file the dirt off and make my nails even and then went to buff it to make the top smooth. See, I'm soo good at making time fly. Yea, it took me one hour to get both my hands n feet done.

Then it was time for lunch...

Then I went to use the computer and decided to start on my proposals...

I decided to ask JJ for some advice.. and i ended up laughing! :D

 

Then mumu said pack up and get ready to go out.. we were going to marina barrage!!

It was really cool there man! and the four of us, dad mumu, jj and i had a really fun time cam-whorring with my remaning pathetic 20 minute left of camera battery.

So I shall let the pictures do the talking.

Hello! today, I went to VIVO with Celeste. And we did a lot of things...So I shall talk it here :D

 

OKAY so we met at Candy Empire at 11 and I got tempted T_T

 

Then we decided to go upstairs...and I remembered that VIVO had the shop by the name of Colettee and it sells baby stuff, AND SO I wanted to buy socks for Naomi for her birthday and so I went in there...

 

Then we walked on and went to Mini Toons.

and we spent a long time browsing...

 

Then we walked on and went to Action City.

and we spend a long time browsing...

and celeste bought and ELMO keychain

 

And I found out that Celeste likes:

1. Pigs

2. Mushrooms

3. Elmo & Sesame Street

4. green frogs

5. any cute things by her definition

 

haha see so productive!

 

Then we walked on and went to Page One (a bookshop)

and we looked for an information counter, which Celeste thought did not exist.

and we found it and I asked for 2 books, Hidden by Cathy Glass, and Beyond UGLY by Constance Briscoe.

 

and we went book searching and I found it and we had a look at the books. The book by Cathy Glass costs $21.08 and the one by Constance Briscoe costs $19.90. I really wanted to get one of them so I called my mumu, who thankfully still happened to be there and so she bought it for me :D and I slipped the socks for Naomi into the book bag and asked her to help me bring it home :D see I bully her :D but it works so oh well...

Then we walked on and went to DAISO Japan, the $2- shop, so it is named my my friends and I.

and we had nothing to get there, so we just played with the stuff there :D look mingle with them but not breaking them hahaha

and we decided that we ought to hury if we wanted to spend time at the arcade and at the pool...

 

Then we walked on (with purpose) and went to the Arcade... we spend $4.40 there

and we really had fun..

and we played:

1. some throwing game

2. 2 rounds of that game where you use a thinggy to hit the disc around (suddenly forgot the name!)

3. one more game which I cannot remember what it is...

 

Then we walked on outside to the pool (it has re-opened!!!)

and we took off our shoes... and put our feet in the water (k obvious thing to do right..)

and then we did funny things haha and cam whored as usual...

Then we decided that we were going to eat lunch

and so we took a complicated journey to Bugis...

 

The train had this cool window! :D

 

it was extremely crowded manzz..

 

we headed straight for the food court and found this hidden seat! Lucky! so we worked out a plan...

I went to order the lunch and brought one set back to our seat while the other was being prepared and would run back there... then I would change money with the cashier so I could ive Celeste change later :D

 

SUCCESSFUL! :D haha okay I'm lame.

 

Then we walked about to digest our lunch 

and we passed by:

1. the neoprint shop and were tempted to take neoprints but did not

2. A 'n' BC bookshop and were tempted to buy the notebooks and some other stuff but did not

3. Mu-EE and were tempted to buy the pigs there cos they were too EX.

4. Action city and were NOT tempted since we were there earlier...

5. Kinokuniya and were NOT tempted since we had nothing to buy...

 

Then we decided that we ought to visit Bugis street

and so we practised the squeezing tactic and Celeste was impressed (or at least to me she is-i'm in self denial-) by me squeezing tactics

and we got to the CD shops were she was so impressed by the price of the CDs...

and I saw my 神木与瞳 a.k.a. Y2J CD that costs $21 so I decided not to buy it and wait for the price to go down

 

Then we decided that it was time to squeeze back out

and so we went back to Bugis to get our afternoon snack. Or rather celested got her afternoon snack while I went about to look for my long chain necklace

and so I went to Accessorize and Aldo Accessories and Diva and no avail... me no impressed

 

Then we went about looking for bus stops

and we made a lucky turn and saw that the bus stop has Bus service no.12 but it does not go to Celeste's house, so we crossed the road... and the bus stop across the road does not have Bus. service no.2 so I said BYE to her and walked on...

 

THEN GUESS WHAT!I SAW HWEE HOON DOING SOME CHARITY WORK NEAR THE BUS STOP! HEE HEE! SHE'S MY LAST YEAR JAP CLASSMATE :D

SO SAD I WAS IN A RUSH IF NOT A WOULD HAV DONATED TO HER THINGGY THING.

Hello everyone! Today, I officially conclude that  today, 6 November is the official World Laugh at Ahma Tan Day (WLATD), okay, it doesn't make any sense yes... haha

Let me tell you why.

 

Today morning I went to take a blood test.

 

 

nurse: must press this hard or else will have a bruise

me: (hate bruises) ok

nurse: (went to do one ton load of labelling stuff)

me: (still pressing extremely hardly)

nurse: ok can already

me: (finally!)

nurse: pain or not?

me: left hand pain....

nurse: why?? i poke your right hand leh

me: orh cos I press the cotton wool too long liao... :D

 

and so i got laughed at by the nurse n mumu n jj

 

Dr.:so what do you usually like to do?

mum: (answer for me) watch TV

Dr.: and?

me: drawing/singing...

Dr.: and?

me: watch my DVDs?

Dr.: (heard it as TV and laughed cos she was wondering why I repeated my answer)

 

nurse: just act normal okay

me: haha very cold... I laugh when I'm cold (Seriously I do)

nurse: (brought all the wires over me)

me: hahaha(because it's ticklish!)

nurse: (thought I was #@?#%\ and laughed at me too)

 

Dr.: If you're 40kg < then you can donate your own blood to use for your ownself during operations

me: oh that's cool, I think I shall do just that.. but must grow more heavy first

 

and so the doctor n mumu n jj laughed at me... haha :D

 

me: (recounting my happenings)

Hi everyone, today was such an extraordinary day that I MUST blog about it :)

 

Today, I woke up at 9~~ and I ate breakfast and did bla bla bla, (not impt) then I went to bugis to meet Regina for the QUEST. You see, I was helping her be a photographer, cos she wants to win a chance to see Rihanna, backstage live @ her concert this nov 13. then she can win by taking the most photos with her n a stranger holding up this poster saying 'Rihanna is Everywhere'. So I was there to help her take the pictures :D

 

So, we were at bugis till about 12, then we moved on to bugis street. We took 2 pictures at bugis because the ppl were SO unhelpful :D and yea, we didn't take any at bugis street because it was quite crowded there. THEN we went on to the national library were we had a drink at Hans and went inside to search the catalouge and enjoy the air con :)

 

THEN we decided that it was time to move on to plaza Singapura, yes I have been there last Tuesday :) well but at least I've been to more places than I have been to last year. Last year, it all revolved around the east area...but this year I went as far as plaza sing, orchard!!! :D :D :D 

 

Yes back to the point, we went around the levels, trying to get people to take pics, but most of them didn't want, so there, we took only some... then at abt 1.45 +- we went to yoshinoya for lunch. tachnically I wasn't really hungry so my lunch was spudsters( some potato stuff). I have pix!

yea, my spudsters hadn't arrived yet when we took photos :D

 

THEN we continued people hunting...

and we took 8! so when we left plaza sing, we had 10 pix altogether, not very heartening, but we were sure we would get more at orchard cos there would be many tourists there and the tourists would be more outgoing, so we thought. Yea it was quite true actually :)

 

We paced up and down the whole of the outside of wisma atria and ngee ann city and the MRT for such a long time!!! I totally lost track of time but yea, I still know it was very long :D and after we finaly managed to take another 5 pictures, we went to kinokuniya to enjoy air con again. regina was totally enticed by this twilight book which had some poster in it so i sat down there stoning and we chatted random stuff :D and about our next plan

 

then we went out again, and it was about 4. We decided that we were not going to spend the remaing 2-3 hours pacing up and down the same streach of road so we went to cross the road to wheelock place.. and then we went to shaw house and tangs plaza through the underpass then we went past lucky plaza and then we went back to wheelock place where we went to far east plaza and then to forum the shopping mall where we went in and had the stop at the bookshop to enjoy some air con and then we went to 'patrol the area' then we finally went back to the wisma atria ngee ann city area one last time before heading to the MRT! PHEW!

what a day! you know some people can be really nice, but some people can be really mean! like most of the who agreed to take our photos, they were like,' oh, okay!' this were mostly the american tourists who also really nice wished us good luck! :D and they were quite enthusiatic too! and some people went 'okay no problem' they were mostly singaporeans, who said that after a few explanations :] then the rude people went 'no no no' or 'sorry no, thank you (dunno why they thank us T__T)', 'sorry not interested' and the worst of all there were two people, one of them just waved us away and the other didn't even wait for regina to speak then she just walked off! AHHH *&%^$#&*@$*#!^! k forget it.

 

so, yea, that is just my day :D

man i've been gng out lik practically everyday man! I really wanna go out with Gracie tmr, but she's too tired, nvm, I'll wait for her to come :D LOOK FORWARD!

so anyways, tmr I'm free , I shall watch DVDs on my DVD player and on thurs, I shall go for the blood test thing and in e aft gng to clique gathering at ZW hse, HOPEFULLY and fri, gng to sch for PB meeting abt sec one orientation 09 and sat free n sun free and mon free! :D :D :D

 

OKAY I am going to write my diary, the task which I am supposed to do since last friday night...........
