 You know, when I first took Jap in sec 1, I seriously had no high expectations of myself, well, since, I was studying with people from top schools and such... BUT... apparently, I appear to do okay in Jap since like Sec 1 Common Test 2...
And then I slowly started to leave my Jap alone and alone...I really only revise the chapter the weekend before the exam and study the particles the day before or the same afternoon of the exam!
Example, tomorrow's CA, I was like:
'hey, mu, I think I'm gonna study the particles on Tues only cause I will forget one, so might as well memorise it once and for all, instead of familiarising myself with it...'
and to myself, I was like:
'should I read the textbook? It's like only read and read and its not even oral, (because I have read the ppt slides already) '
OKAY this is very bad.
AND SO I CONCLUDE
that I am sadly becoming more/less/to a certain extent
complacent.

Sec1 me would have made notes, revised, re-read, and re-done all the worksheets, ppt slides, textbook and textbook exercises long before to the night before the exams
Sec2 me would have read the textbook, re-do the worksheets and textbook exercises and the ppt slides like the weekend before the exams
Sec3 me will read the textbook, re-do the workbook, read the textbook exercise and ppt slides the weekend to the night before exams... ...

Ahh this is bad.
OK it's time to battle the mindset...maybe I ought to be taught a lesson ;)
